CRG PhD Fellowship in Structural Genomics for International Students,Spain-2017

The CNAG-CRG is pleased to offer PhD Fellowship in Structural Genomics for the year 2017. International students are eligible to apply for this fellowship. The successful candidate will report to the Structural Genomics Group Leader. The CNAG-CRG seeks a talented young student with a strong background in bioinformatics for the Structural Genomics Team working on modeling the 3D chromosomal structure in beta cells to identify genetic mechanisms underlying type 2 diabetes. This post will be funded by La Marató de TV3.

• Fellowship is awarded in Structural Genomics. The CNAG-CRG is actively involved in collaborative research projects on a number of specific topics: Disease Gene Identification, Cancer Genomics, Genomics of Infectious Diseases, Model Organism Genomics and Synthetic Biology Genomics.

Course Level:

Fellowship is available for PhD programme.

Eligibility:

The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:

• Master degree in Bioinformatics or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in Bioinformatics analysis.
• Knowledge of 3C related techniques will be a plus.

Benefit:
Fellowship for 3 years with a PhD salary as for CNAG-CRG’s scale.
