University is inviting applications from outstanding UK/EU and International students for 2017 Newcastle – Singapore Studentships. Five studentships are available to pursue PhD projects and students in the fields of: Ageing and Digital Technologies, Computing Science, especially Cyber Security and Visualisation, Sustainability, including Energy and Water and Electrical Power and Marine Science and Technology, Physics.

Programmes Offered:
Applications in any science or engineering discipline are welcome but we particularly invite PhD projects and students in the fields of:

• Ageing and Digital Technologies
• Computing Science, especially Cyber Security and Visualisation
• Sustainability, including Energy and Water
• Electrical Power
• Marine Science and Technology
• Physics

Course Level:
Studentships are available to pursue PhD programme.

Eligibility:
The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for these studentships:
In partnership with NUS (National University Singapore), NTU (Nanyang Technological University Singapore) and A*Star Singapore, the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE) is inviting applications from talented students who have, or expect to receive, a good Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and who have a real passion for research.

Benefit:
Studentship of £20,000 per year for a maximum of 4 years will be awarded to the students.
