Toronto Catholic District School Board is pleased to offer Catherine Temple Mathematics Award. These are open to female candidates from Canada for pursuing undergraduate programme in mathematics. The aim of the scholarship is to encourage and support her in her pursuit of studies in mathematics or a mathematics-related field at a Canadian post-secondary institution.

Eligibility:

The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:

• Academic standing shall be the main criteria used in the selection of the recipient
• The student will also have a record of significant contribution to the school community especially in areas related to mathematics (such as participation in a math club, in mathematics contests, etc.)
• Financial need, in the broad sense, may be considered as a “tie breaker” in the event that there are a number of students who demonstrate academic merit

Benefit:
The award of no less than  $4,000.00, be given to a graduating female student upon proof of registration in  mathematics or in a  mathematics related program at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
