The Bank of Tanzania, an equal opportunity employer and Tanzania’s central bank, is looking for suitably qualified young Tanzanian citizens of high personal integrity to fill the following vacant positions at the Head Office and at its Branches in Mwanza, Mbeya, Arusha, Zanzibar, Dodoma, Mtwara and Training Institute, Mwanza. Following review of the Corporate staff establishment, all job vacancies that were advertised during 2016 have been cancelled and only those which are in line with the current establishment requirements are hereby readvertised.

 1. Position: Laboratory Technologist II-3 Posts Reports to: Head of Division Contract type: Unspecified period Job Purpose To carry out routine and analytical medical laboratory tests on Bank of Tanzania staff and specified members of their families.

2. Position: Medical Officer II-2 Posts Reports to: Head of Division Contract type: Unspecified period Job Purpose To provide diagnostic, therapeutic and health services to staff and specified members of their families.

3. Position: Nurse II – 1 Post Reports to: Head of Division Contract type: Unspecified period Job Purpose To perform nursing duties and carry out nursing care to patients at dispensaries, home and other approved settings.
