Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia, New Zeland-2017

The Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia (PMSA) are now open for eligible New Zealand Students who want to pursue any study or research program in the selected Asian countries. The participants may apply one of the two types of the program, they are: exchange program and Independent programmes (non-exchange).
Application Deadline: 31 March 2017

Programmes offered:

• All programmes offered by the host institution.

Course Level:
Scholarships are available for research programme, Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree level.

Eligibility:
The main requirements of this scholarship as follow:

• Be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
• Be a New Zealand citizen or Permanent Residence holder of a minimum 2 years at the time of application.
• Not hold citizenship in their destination country in Asia.
• Propose a programme that meets the requirements of the PMSA.

Benefit:
Successful exchange PMSA candidates will be awarded between $200 and $250 per week, for each week they are actively on programme in Asia.The successful candidates of the independent programmes will receive:

• Tuition/programme fees for your Asian institution.
• Economy flights to and from your Asian destination.
• Accommodation (while actively on programme).
• Living expenses (while actively on programme).
• Insurance (while actively on programme, including travel to and from Asia).

Tenure:

Full duration of programme.
